Spend Your Labor Day Weekend Outdoors!

Simply Green Lawn Care, located in Lilburn, Ga, is excited about the long weekend, as we’re sure you are too! Labor Day Weekend is a great time to spend with family and friends, and to have a little fun in the process. But what can you do with this extra time? If you are like us, much of your downtime is spent outdoors. So, why not make Labor Day Weekend a series of outdoor activities?? If this grabs your interest, take a look at some outdoor activities we have come up with for some inspiration!

• Have a BBQ – If you are struggling to find something everyone will enjoy, try a having a barbecue! Set up a backyard spread, and grill some burgers and hotdogs. Food can be the way to everyone’s hearts, so it is a sure way to make sure everyone has a good time.
• Go Hiking – Looking to venture out beyond your backyard? Go hiking! Georgia hosts some of the best hiking trails with the best scenery in the country (though we might be a little biased). You can hike a portion of the Appalachian Trail or any other trails that bests suites you.
• Go Camping – If an afternoon of being outdoors isn’t enough, go camping! Find a great campground near you and bring family and friends along for the ride. Most camp grounds have grilling stations, so combining this with our first suggestion is easy.
• Go to a Sporting Event – If your group is more the athletic type, go catch a sporting event! Football season has just begun, so this is the perfect time of year for you!
