Beat The Heat This Summer

imagesEach summer in Georgia is a guessing game on how much rainfall we will get or if we are going to have a heat wave. This summer we’ve been lucky to have a nice amount of rain to even out the high heat. This summer however provides no guarantee of continued rain so making sure you are landscaping can stand the heat, maintaining your lawn and watering correctly will make your lawn survive. Here are some tips from Simply Green Lawn Care on landscaping ideas, lawn maintenance and watering solutions to save you time and money.

Plant According To The Weather

Here are a few plants that we suggest to withstand hot summers without needing daily watering: Daylilies, black-eyed susans, coreopsis, scabiosa, nandina, indian hawthorn, and spireas.

Lawn Maintenance

Timing is everything when it comes to getting your lawn and landscape in shape and it’s essential to not only find the right plants for the season but also making sure you are planting and installing them at the right time.

Water Well: Where nature leaves off… Hydretain takes over.

Save water. Save your lawn. Save money on your water bills. Simply Green’s water management program, using Hydretain, reduces your outdoor watering up to 50% and improves the health and vigor of your lawn.

Outdoor water restrictions? No worries.
  • Reduce landscape watering requirements up to 50%

Have used Simply Green for over a year now for weed control & fertilization. Their service & products have helped improve the appearance & health of my grass in this short time. Taffari has been the technician the last few visits and he is great - super knowledgeable & able to answer my questions. On the last visit Taffari had the service manager reach out on a concern and it was addressed & resolved the same day.
